Not a big-box rental counter. A yard.

National chains run on a four-page contract, a counter queue, and equipment owned by a leasing company three states away. Halton runs on one page, one yard, and a phone number that goes to whoever is standing nearest the radio. The difference shows up in three places: what time the kit arrives, who is on the line at 5am, and what happens when something breaks on the job.

01 / Delivery

On site by 7am, never later

Order before 16:00 and the kit is on a flatbed before sun-up. Our drivers know which job sites unlock at six and which ones don't, and they will sit and wait if they get there first. No "between 8 and 12" window. Same-day delivery is on offer if we have the rig and you ring before lunch.

02 / Operator

Trained operators on call

Need a 20-ton excavator but no one on your crew is ticketed to run it? We send a certified operator with the machine, by the hour. They know our kit, they speak to your foreman, and they go home when you say they go home. Cheaper than a temp agency and twice as fast.

03 / Breakdown

One call, any hour

If a hire breaks down on the job, you ring extension 9 and a mechanic with a service van rolls. Day, night, Sunday. Average response inside our service area is 47 minutes. If we cannot fix it in two hours, you get a swap rig free of charge. We measure it. The phone log is on the wall in the office.

Six classes of kit, what's in, what's out.

This is roughly what the board in the dispatch office looks like at 9 in the morning. The full inventory updates on the dashboard you get when you book. If a class is low or out, ring the desk — we can usually pull a unit back from a finished job inside the day.
